What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end purchase requisition and PO lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and policy compliance.
• Validate supporting documentation such as statements of work, order forms, and quotes before PO issuance.
• Partner with strategic sourcing for post-contract execution, metadata management, and supplier onboarding.
• Champion automation and streamlining initiatives to eliminate manual tasks within the Buy Desk workflow.
• Track and report on key metrics including transaction volume, requisition cycle times, and compliance rates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement operations, purchasing, or procure-to-pay functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP or e-procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or Oracle.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be based in San Francisco, California.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
• Background in AP workflows, invoice exception handling, or three-way match processes.
• Exposure to process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
• CPSM, CPM, or other supply chain certifications.
