What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of the audio engine powering DAW plugins.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to shape the user experience.
• Propose and implement technical solutions to improve maintenance, efficiency, and feature depth.
• Develop across the technical stack, including both UI and back-end code.
• Mentor engineers and facilitate technical alignment through RFCs and code reviews.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects tied to organizational goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building production-quality audio software.
• Expertise in C++, signal processing, real-time systems, multithreading, and AI solutions.
• Experience with JUCE or other plugin frameworks.
• Proficiency in writing production-quality code in C++ and TypeScript.
• Must be based in the US.
• Strong architectural skills and ability to lead complex technical initiatives from definition to delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, Rust, Go, WebAssembly, or Emscripten.
• Native iOS or Android development skills.
• Musical background as an instrumentalist or vocalist.
• Experience implementing or training AI models for creative fields (audio, image, video).
