What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SREs, managing hiring, performance, and career development.
• Define and operationalize SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to drive product reliability.
• Build an AIOps practice using anomaly detection and AI-assisted workflows to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
• Lead major incident response as a senior incident commander and conduct blameless post-incident reviews.
• Partner with FinOps and platform leadership to optimize cloud costs and platform efficiency.
• Ensure all reliability decisions and tool selections uphold HIPAA, PHI, and security obligations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• 4+ years of direct people management experience in remote environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Azure (AKS, networking, identity).
• Proven experience defining and operationalizing SLOs/SLIs for customer-facing SaaS.
• Fluency with modern observability tools like Datadog.
• Experience operating in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2).

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare edge services.
• Proficiency in IaC at scale using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest).
• Background in FinOps and cloud unit economics.
