TL;DR
Software/Site Reliability Engineer (FedRAMP): Ensuring the reliability and high availability of a cloud-based vulnerability management platform with an accent on automation, scaling, and government compliance. Focus on developing tools for automated deployment, managing Kubernetes orchestration, and remediating infrastructure security vulnerabilities.
Location: Remote (Must be a U.S. citizen and currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA)
Salary: $131,500 - $175,500 USD

What you will do
- Ensure reliability and high availability of cloud products in production environments.
- Develop software, tools, and scripts to automate deployment, management, and monitoring of production systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems and resolve support escalations within defined service level objectives.
- Collaborate on the software development lifecycle to develop enhancement definitions and translate requirements into solution designs.
- Manage system upgrades, application updates, and define monitoring requirements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24x7 availability of production systems.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- 2+ years of SRE experience applying software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design).
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker or similar container solutions.
- Proficiency in bash scripting and higher-level languages such as Python or Node.js.
Nice to have
- Experience with platform development in compliance with FedRAMP requirements.
- Experience with distributed monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk, or OTEL.
- Knowledge of datastore technologies: Kafka, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, or RDS Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Helm and languages like Go, Java, Kotlin, or Groovy.
- Operational experience with big data services technologies.
