Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: Bellevue, Washington; Chicago, Illinois; San Francisco, California; or Washington, DC. This hybrid position requires two days per week in the San Francisco office.

Annual base salary: $204,000–$306,000 USD for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus potential equity, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage SRE teams supporting the IDaaS platform and multiple infrastructure and shared-service workloads.
• Lead the development of edge networking, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, observability, automation, and tooling capabilities.
• Drive the microservices journey, DevOps maturity, and workload reliability with architects and engineering teams.
• Build self-service tooling, automation, and self-healing patterns to improve engineering velocity.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineers and managers across platform, infrastructure, and shared services.
• Evaluate engineering designs, manage resource allocation, and deliver projects within budget and schedule constraints.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience building and operating large-scale infrastructure platforms for SaaS or cloud services in a public cloud, preferably AWS.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on background in software development, PaaS, automation, observability platforms, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or APM solutions.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and strong communication skills.
• Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience. Must be able to provide documentation establishing U.S. Person status to access federal environments or protected federal data.
