What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, managing hiring and career development.
• Own the reliability, performance, and FinOps (cost efficiency) of AWS and Azure production environments.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate roadmaps into infrastructure and deployment plans.
• Set the technical direction for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and incident response.
• Mature ITIL-aligned service management practices, including on-call and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with Security to integrate compliance standards (SOC 2, SOX, ISO 27001, HIPAA) into operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years in infrastructure or DevOps engineering, including 4+ years leading engineering teams.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, including cloud networking, compute, storage, and IAM.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines at scale using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Fluency in Python or other automation scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and modern observability tools like DataDog.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with CloudFormation or Bicep.
