Systems Acquisition SME (Government): Supporting the Department of the Navy in advancing enterprise acquisition and resource management capabilities via the PMRT suite with an accent on Navy acquisition policy, resource management, and financial planning. Focus on analyzing acquisition workflows, translating operational needs into system capabilities, and leading enterprise transformation initiatives.

Location: Must be based in the Washington, DC/DMV area (Remote with periodic onsite requirements in the National Capital Region)

Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the senior functional advisor for Navy acquisition business processes supporting PMRT modernization.
• Analyze acquisition workflows to improve program execution, visibility, and governance.
• Translate operational needs and business requirements into PMRT system capabilities.
• Develop executive briefings, white papers, and decision support materials for senior leadership.
• Partner with software development teams to prioritize enhancements and improve user experience.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting Department of War acquisition, program, or financial management.
• Extensive knowledge of Department of the Navy acquisition organizations and policies.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Ability to support periodic onsite engagements in the Washington, DC/DMV area.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IDS CCaR platform and/or PMRT suite.
• Knowledge of PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution) processes.
• DAWIA Practitioner or Advanced certification in Program Management or Business-Financial Management.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives within the Department of Navy.
