Senior Software Engineer (AI Agents)

Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; hybrid

hirify.global is building an AI operating system for healthcare, combining ambient AI, autonomous agents, and revenue-cycle automation on a platform integrated with more than 60 EHRs.

What you will do

• Own the infrastructure and runtime environment for the OpenClaw autonomous-agent fleet.
• Build, deploy, troubleshoot, and operate agents across Linux virtual machines, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud or AWS.
• Develop Python services, automation, integrations, deployment tooling, and standardized developer platforms.
• Design agent harnesses supporting tool use, memory, context management, permissions, scheduling, retries, and human escalation.
• Establish evaluation, observability, dashboards, alerting, and incident-response systems for agent and platform health.
• Improve the security, reliability, resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency of production agent workloads.

Requirements

• Professional experience building and operating production software, infrastructure, or internal platforms.
• Strong Python proficiency, deep Linux fundamentals, and hands-on Bash and command-line experience.
• Experience managing virtual-machine fleets, cloud infrastructure, containerized workloads, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services, including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and observability.
• Experience building with large language models, autonomous agents, or agent harnesses, including tool calling, memory, planning, retries, evaluations, and permissions.
• Strong understanding of distributed-system reliability, security, observability, concurrency, failure recovery, and incident response.

Nice to have

• Experience building, deploying, or operating OpenClaw agents or contributing to an open-source agent framework.
• Experience with autonomous-agent fleets, multi-tenant platforms, agent evaluation, tracing, replay, simulation, or regression testing.
• Experience with browser agents, computer-use agents, model gateways, prompt versioning, token accounting, or LLM cost optimization.
• Experience securing workloads that access sensitive data or high-impact production tools.
• Familiarity with Swift, native Apple applications, healthcare, revenue-cycle management, or regulated industries.
