Senior AI Engineer (LLM)

Location: Remote, Brazil

What you will do

• Design and develop LLM-powered information extraction pipelines using consensus, grounding, and value verification techniques.
• Align extracted attributes with the PriCat standard and support compatibility with new ERP systems.
• Evaluate and optimize AI models for accuracy, cost, and latency using LLM observability tools.
• Develop AI capabilities with Python, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Document Intelligence, Jinja2, and structured generation workflows.
• Rebuild and enhance the web application with React and Next.js, including PDF grounding and evidence-validation features.
• Investigate issues for French-speaking users, implement fixes and small features, and maintain automated tests.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience focused on AI engineering and full-stack development.
• Professional experience with Python, Azure OpenAI, LLM-based workflows, and LangChain.
• Knowledge of document processing, structured data extraction, grounding, output validation, and AI quality metrics.
• Experience with React, Next.js, Jinja2 or similar templating approaches, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with LLM observability tools, particularly Langfuse, and troubleshooting production applications.
• Ability to support French-speaking users and collaborate clearly with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence or similar document processing technologies.
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation, multi-step extraction, consensus mechanisms, and grounding techniques.
• Experience integrating AI-generated data with ERP systems or enterprise data standards.
• Familiarity with PDF rendering, document annotation, and evidence-based validation interfaces.
• Experience supporting international users or working in multilingual environments.
