What you will do

• Design and maintain core systems to ensure reliable, high-performing simulator operation.
• Modernize legacy simulator systems through enhancements, new features, and stability optimizations.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate system components into real-time training devices.
• Support system reviews and cross-functional innovation for next-generation training capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across modern and legacy platforms.
• Contribute to systems directly supporting pilot readiness and mission safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering for mission-critical or real-time environments.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access.
• Proven leadership skills in mentoring teams and driving technical innovation.
• Ability to work overtime, shifts, weekends, and travel within CONUS.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704.
• Experience with ARINC / RTCA standards.
• Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience in the defense or military sector.
