What you will do

• Define and analyze system requirements using MBSE and digital engineering methods.
• Develop functional system models, requirement trees, and CONOPS.
• Conduct simulation-based performance trades and requirements verification.
• Lead small teams and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate on strategic technical planning and interface design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics required (Master's preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on requirements.
• Proficiency with SysML, Magic Draw, Cameo, Matlab, and Simulink.
• Experience with aerospace and spaceflight systems engineering.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
• Strong systems thinking and communication skills.

Nice to have

• OMG Systems Modeling Certification.
• INCOSE ASEP or CSEP Certification.
• Experience with STPA, DOORs, and human systems engineering.
