Salary: $48,000 – $55,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• Track and analyze revenue streams from deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and professional services.
• Support the business unit in maintaining an accurate financial forecast.
• Prepare audit requests and respond to queries during quarterly, interim, and year-end reviews.
• Lead and assist with special ad hoc projects impacting various organizational stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships and provide high-quality customer service to the business unit.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience communicating effectively with all levels of management.
• Solution-focused mindset with a desire to improve internal processes.
• Must be based in Ontario, Canada

Nice to have

• Professional financial designation (CPA or currently in pursuit of).
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting framework.
• Knowledge of project accounting and software revenue recognition.
