TL;DR
Operational Resilience Engineer (DevOps/Fintech): Designing and building automated workflows for incident management, BCP/DR, and change management to enhance operational risk control with an accent on end-to-end engineering solutions. Location: Must be based in or be able to commute to Kansas City or Overland Park, USA. Follows a four-day in-office work model.
Salary: $80,750 – $104,500

What you will do
- Build end-to-end automations to streamline the incident lifecycle, from detection through learning reviews and action tracking.
- Integrate operational systems to enable real-time data flow across incident, change, and compliance platforms.
- Develop AI-assisted workflows to enrich incidents, surface risk signals, and accelerate decision-making.
- Automate change management processes, including risk scoring and compliance evidence collection.
- Create policy validation pipelines and maintain critical operational documentation and procedures.
- Deliver self-service tooling that empowers Technology and Operations staff to act independently.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in computer science, networking, or computer infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, Business, Financial Services, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in APIs, cloud automation, CI/CD, event-driven architecture, and observability tooling.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and procedural documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience with Atlassian Suite products.
- Experience responding to and documenting technical incidents.
- Experience developing AI-assisted workflows.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a technical setting.
