AI / DevOps Engineer – Agentic Systems & Automation (AI)

Location: New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Denver, USA; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office

Base salary: $139,000–$243,000 per year, plus annual bonus/commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, operate, and improve AI agents automating operational, engineering, and support workflows.
• Develop agent orchestration frameworks using LLMs, tool integrations, structured workflows, and workflow-based automation.
• Build automation pipelines combining AI reasoning with deterministic systems, controls, and operational processes.
• Implement Python services integrating AI agents with internal APIs, ITSM systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines for AI-enabled services and automation platforms.
• Document architectures, research emerging AI technologies, and develop proofs of concept while resolving complex automation issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Expert-level Python development experience with automation and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, using Git, and integrating systems through REST APIs.
• Proficiency in YAML and JSON.
• Experience building AI agents, autonomous systems, or AI-driven automation solutions, including familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and tool-calling frameworks.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, Ansible, or other configuration management experience.
• AWS experience or professional certifications.
• JavaScript, database, and modern application development experience.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
