What you will do

• Drive operational excellence for distributed AWS systems to ensure 5-9's availability for millions of small business customers.
• Architect highly available, secure, and performant cloud-native data systems at multi-million-user scale.
• Design and ship AI-powered tools (AIOps) to auto-detect, triage, and remediate production issues.
• Lead incident response, participate in on-call rotations, and implement resiliency practices including chaos engineering and disaster recovery.
• Elevate observability using tools like Splunk, Wavefront, and Prometheus to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
• Automate manual operating procedures to reduce developer toil and drive complex cross-team technical initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience building AWS infrastructure and expertise in SRE disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and ArgoCD, including high-availability and DR strategies.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or Ruby for application development and DevOps automation.
• Extensive experience in performance tuning and monitoring using Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, or Prometheus.
• Strong grasp of SSDLC and CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Proven technical leadership with a track record of driving initiatives independently.
