What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance trading platforms for internal and external clients.
• Develop and deploy features across order management and exchange connectivity systems.
• Understand Latam cash-market structure, regulations, and exchange services, and implement ongoing changes.
• Gather requirements and communicate with traders, sales, clients, compliance, legal, and engineering teams.
• Explain existing platform features and support the electronic trading business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Java or C++.
• Experience with system or infrastructure software development.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with Linux.
• Strong English and Portuguese communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Event Sourcing and sequenced core stream architectures.
• Knowledge of JVM internals and low-latency tuning.
• Experience building deterministic, microsecond-level low-latency C++ or Java systems.
• Experience with order management, exchange connectivity, and equity markets.
