Implementation Manager (Java)

Location: On-site in Mexico City, São Paulo, or Belgrade; standard business hours on Belgrade time, roughly 9:00–17:00.

hirify.global operates PayCore, a payments platform supporting merchant integrations and live transaction processing.

What you will do

• Drive merchant integrations from signed contract through first live transaction.
• Investigate integration failures by reading logs, tracing requests, reproducing issues in sandbox, and identifying root causes.
• Explain and resolve API, configuration, callback, authentication, signing, and transaction-state problems.
• Review and correct merchant code, fix bugs in platform services, and build setup-specific features.
• Create sample clients, diagnostic scripts, internal utilities, documentation, and escalation runbooks.
• Support pre-sales with technical and security questionnaires and integration feasibility checks.

Requirements

• Comfortable writing Java, working in an existing codebase, testing changes, and shipping fixes.
• Daily experience with an AI coding harness such as Claude Code, Codex, or a similar tool.
• Ability to read unfamiliar code and diagnose running-system issues using logs, request tracing, hypotheses, and production data.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs, authentication and signing, webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, client-server architecture, SaaS platforms, and cloud conventions.
• Ability to write SQL queries and use Postman, a database client, an OpenAPI tool, and Git.
• English and Spanish are required for communication with merchants and colleagues.

• Experience in payments, fintech, or another regulated domain.
• Background in technical support, integration engineering, or professional services at a product company.
• Experience improving support through tooling, templates, and self-service documentation.
• Experience with Python, Node, or AWS.
