What you will do

• Design, build, and implement cast iron foundry tooling.
• Research new materials and competitive products while executing prototype testing and analysis.
• Collaborate with design engineers and the tooling shop to resolve quality and leadership actions.
• Develop functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documents.
• Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Assist buyers and supply specialists with supplier performance and development.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Materials Science from an accredited curriculum.
• Experience with cast iron foundry tooling design.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for simulation and testing.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the USA.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Magmasoft or Solidcast.
• Knowledge of no-bake and coldbox processes.
• Experience with horizontal and vertical molding processes.
• Proficiency in Creo.
• Knowledge of foundry process and defect resolution.
