Salary: $150,000 – $180,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy automated test systems for complex embedded electronic assemblies.
• Implement production and repair test software using C/C++ and LabVIEW.
• Develop custom test fixtures, adapters, and interface hardware, including JTAG and boundary scan solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot embedded processor boards at the component level (analog and digital).
• Support product transitions into production and optimize systems for reliability and maintainability.
• Assist with product evaluations, obsolescence investigations, and technical feasibility studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware testing or sustaining engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and LabVIEW.
• Ability to read and analyze schematics to debug embedded processor-based hardware.
• Expertise in board-level/component-level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Livermore, CA.

Nice to have

• Proven success in reverse-engineering testing processes with sparse or legacy documentation.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing).
• Self-starter attitude with a passion for lab-based engineering solutions.
