Staff Engineer – Legacy Embedded Systems (Embedded IoT)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy automated production and repair test systems for complex embedded electronic assemblies.
• Build production test software using C/C++ and LabVIEW.
• Develop custom test fixtures, adapters, interface hardware, JTAG solutions, and boundary scan implementations.
• Perform component-level diagnostics and troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry on embedded processor boards.
• Support product transitions into manufacturing and re-validate test capabilities for long-term reliability.
• Improve test coverage, manufacturing yield, system uptime, and test maintainability during production operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware testing or sustaining engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and LabVIEW.
• Ability to read and analyze schematics and debug embedded processor-based hardware.
• Expertise in board-level and component-level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

Nice to have

• Experience recreating or reverse-engineering testing processes from sparse or legacy documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and a self-starter approach to lab-based engineering.
