Data Scientist (Prediction Markets)

What you will do

• Model liquidity dynamics across markets and inform liquidity reward structures.
• Build recurring reports and metrics for monitoring market health.
• Audit new market listings using historical and comparable market data.
• Diagnose underperforming markets, including issues with resolution criteria, liquidity, and timing.
• Partner with the Markets team to prioritize data questions and deliver decision-ready analyses.
• Improve data collection and instrumentation with engineering for market analysis.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills for data analysis, statistical modeling, and large datasets.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Deep working knowledge of market structure, order books, spreads, liquidity provision, and market design.
• Experience owning analyses end to end, from ambiguous questions to actionable stakeholder outputs.
• Experience building models that capture real-world complexity and clearly communicating assumptions and limitations.
• Ability to work independently while embedded in a non-data team.

Nice to have

• Experience with prediction markets, trading firms, or funds.
• Familiarity with automated market makers, CLOB mechanics, or decentralized exchange design.
• Experience building or evaluating liquidity incentive programs.
