NDT Inspector Assistant/Trainee (Engineering)

What you will do

• Prepare components and equipment for inspections as directed by supervisors.
• Work alongside certified technicians to complete projects and learn NDT activities.
• Interface with personnel to determine work scope and priorities to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain, clean, and organize inspection equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document on-the-job training experience as required by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong math and print reading skills, plus basic computer proficiency for report writing.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (Citizen, Green Card holder, Refugee, or Asylee) to comply with ITAR export controls.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel throughout Arizona and work in industrial environments (heights, confined spaces, radiation).

Nice to have

• Two or more years of technical, engineering, science, or construction-related education.
• Completion of recognized formal NDT classroom training.
• Background as a Military Veteran, Engineering/Welding graduate, or Aviation Maintenance Technician.
