Maintenance Technician

TL;DR

Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing): Supporting production operations by performing facility and equipment maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability with an accent on troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems. Focus on preventive maintenance, calibrating industrial equipment, and ensuring a safe, productive manufacturing environment during night shifts.

Location: Must be based in Lakeland, Florida (Onsite)

Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system issues.
• Interpret schematics and technical documentation to calibrate production equipment.
• Promote and execute preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Maintain production machinery using specialized tools and precision instruments.
• Coordinate repairs with production teams to minimize operational downtime.
• Document work activities and equipment history within the CMMS system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with industrial instrumentation and controls.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, servo motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to work a rotating 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM schedule including weekends.
• Effective English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical training in industrial electronics.
• Experience with printing or packaging equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of Kodak Versamark imaging equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
