What you will do

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Verify parts against bills of material and pick lists to ensure accuracy in shipping and order fulfillment.
• Safely handle materials using overhead cranes and lift-assist devices.
• Perform product assembly using power hand tools to support production requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by completing daily 5S and lean manufacturing activities.
• Follow all safety protocols to meet daily production and shipping goals in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Mechanical aptitude and prior experience with power hand tools.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, and lift/lower weights up to 40lbs.
• Must be based in or able to commute to North Aurora, IL.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
