Transaction Manager (Fintech): Managing end-to-end TPR review engagements and performing loan-level credit reviews for non-QM consumer files with an accent on complex income analysis and client delivery. Location: Hybrid (Austin or Salt Lake City). Must be based in Austin, TX or Salt Lake City, UT, with an expectation of two days a week in office (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

What you will do

• Perform loan-level review on non-QM consumer files, including complex income, asset, and collateral analysis.
• Interpret client guidelines and investor requirements to set and manage review scopes.
• Own TPR review engagements end-to-end, ensuring delivery on quality and SLAs.
• Communicate findings to clients and defend exception decisions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape and optimize the AI-assisted review platform.
• Manage internal coordination with operations and compliance teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in residential mortgage credit, specifically in TPR or loan-level due diligence.
• Recent hands-on experience in non-QM underwriting (within the last year).
• Expertise in making and defending complex exception decisions and alternative income analysis.
• Proven track record of communicating findings and handling pushback from clients or rating agencies.
• Working knowledge of consumer compliance, including high-cost tests and disclosure requirements.
• Must be able to work from the Austin or Salt Lake City offices 2 days per week.
