What you will do

• Define and design system-level architecture for surgical navigation and visualization platforms.
• Translate clinical and product requirements into detailed technical specifications and system requirements.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and clinical teams to integrate optical navigation technologies.
• Support the development and optimization of real-time surgical visualization and augmented reality capabilities.
• Perform verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with medical device standards and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues across integrated hardware and software environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or complex product development.
• Experience integrating software with physical hardware systems such as cameras and tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of optical navigation systems and real-time visualization technologies.
• Proficiency with SDLC, version control (Git), and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with 3D visualization, real-time systems, or game engine-based applications.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device systems engineering or regulated environments (FDA/ISO).
• Experience with software development using C# and Unity.
• Background in augmented reality or immersive visualization systems.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, web services, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics in orthopedic applications.
