AV Fabrication Technician (Level 2)

Salary: $31.59–$40.24 per hour

What you will do

• Perform intermediate-level wiring, labeling, cable dressing, and routing for racks and assemblies.
• Install hardware and components according to engineering drawings and schematics.
• Conduct pre-QA checks to ensure wiring accuracy, labeling consistency, and assembly quality.
• Assist in resolving QA-identified deficiencies and prepare systems for final validation.
• Support project kitting activities including packaging, documentation assembly, and material preparation.
• Maintain fabrication floor organization, safety compliance, and tool readiness.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Livermore, CA
• 2 to 4 years of experience in AV, IT, broadcast, or electrical fabrication.
• Strong foundational skills in wiring, labeling, and mechanical installation.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, cable schedules, and build documentation.
• OSHA 10 certification required (or completion within 60 days of hire)
• Familiarity with IP-based media and network concepts.

• AVIXA CTS Certification
• Dante Level 1 or equivalent networked audio certification
