What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure the timely payment of invoices.
• Proactively chase overdue debt via phone and email using professional communication.
• Resolve customer queries promptly by liaising with internal teams.
• Monitor and reduce aged debt, escalating concerns to stakeholders when necessary.
• Reconcile accounts, allocate payments, and support month-end financial processes.
• Prepare reports and updates for internal stakeholders regarding debt status.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Credit Control is essential.
• Strong understanding of credit control processes and debt management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in finance systems and Microsoft Office.
• Must be based in or able to work in Manchester.
