What you will do

• Design and execute efficient purification strategies for lentiviral vectors optimized for CAR-T applications.
• Direct the development of downstream processes including clarification, chromatography, and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF).
• Lead the translation of bench-scale processes to GMP manufacturing and provide technology transfer support.
• Implement study protocols to define operating parameters and performance limits for DSP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project acceleration opportunities and ensure integrated process outcomes.
• Author and review technical documents, including SOPs and CMC sections for regulatory submissions.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10+ years of experience in process development or manufacturing within a biotech/pharma setting.
• Deep technical hands-on experience in purification, chromatography, and TFF for viral vectors.
• Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing requirements and CMC strategies.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience developing vector processes for in vivo CAR-T generation and systemic delivery.
• Experience handling large-scale (>50L) purification processes.
