Salary: $124,000 - $186,000

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and testing of packaging systems and containers for medical devices.
• Define packaging specifications based on product needs, cost, regulatory requirements, and environmental risks.
• Design package exteriors focusing on usability, identification, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality/Regulatory, Manufacturing, and surgical staff.
• Manage GMP documentation, Design History Files (DHFs), and change control activities.
• Support prototype builds and production line development in manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s (7+ years exp), Master’s (5+ years exp), or PhD (3+ years exp) in engineering.
• Specific experience and passion for Cases and Trays designed for Steam Sterilization.
• Demonstrated mastery of core engineering principles and high-level CAD skills.
• Working knowledge of FDA, OUS regulations, ISO, and ASTM standards for medical packaging.
• U.S. work authorization is required (Sponsorship is offered for Principal-level roles).

Nice to have

• Degree in Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Experience working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
