Risk & Change Manager - FTC (Data Centre)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; onsite role supporting a large-scale data centre project in the Groningen region.

Salary: €90,000–€95,000 per year.

What you will do

• Establish, implement, lead, and continuously improve the project's early warning, risk, and change management processes in line with client and project governance requirements.
• Facilitate risk identification workshops, risk reviews, opportunity assessments, and proactive risk response tracking.
• Maintain risk and change registers, perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, and monitor cumulative change impacts, trends, and drivers.
• Manage contractor change submissions and coordinate Change Control Board meetings, ensuring changes are reviewed, assessed, approved, documented, and communicated.
• Integrate risk and change management with planning, cost management, commercial, delivery, and wider Project Controls functions.
• Provide accurate reporting, support assurance activities, stage-gate assessments, project reviews, and lessons-learned initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Membership of a relevant professional body such as APM, IRM, PMI, or equivalent.
• Working towards or holding a relevant professional certification such as the APM Risk Certificate, IRM Certificate, PMP, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering risk and change management services within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working in complex, multidisciplinary project environments involving multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Experience developing and implementing risk and change processes, governance boards, approval frameworks, and project risk registers.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops, advising senior stakeholders in client-facing environments, and working on programmes with significant commercial, schedule, and delivery complexity.
• Familiarity with NEC or other standard forms of contract, commercial awareness, and understanding of contractual risk allocation.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between risk and change management and Project Controls functions.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, presentation, report writing, executive communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels, operate effectively in large corporate and client environments, work independently, and contribute to a wider project team.
