What you will do

• Own and operate the end-to-end hybrid network, balancing operational excellence with long-term platform standardization.
• Lead the technical deployment of ZTNA and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) capabilities to transition from traditional VPN to a Zero Trust model.
• Manage AWS multi-account network architecture, including Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPC security patterns.
• Drive network infrastructure as code using Terraform to replace manual configurations with version-controlled, repeatable patterns.
• Build self-service tooling and guardrails that allow application and operations teams to provision and troubleshoot connectivity independently.
• Instrument network observability and telemetry to ensure platform resilience and proactive issue detection.

Requirements

• Must be based in the continental US.
• Strong hands-on networking fundamentals (routing, switching, DNS, load balancing) in both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Proven experience leading ZTNA/SWG deployments and managing Palo Alto firewall environments.
• Deep AWS networking expertise including Transit Gateway, IPAM, and security group management.
• Practical experience with Terraform and a track record of automating network infrastructure.
• Fluency in scripting (Python or Bash) and experience with formal change management processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS hub-spoke landing zones and Account Factory for Terraform (AFT).
• Knowledge of BGP, dynamic routing, and SD-WAN deployments.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace, Observe, or similar observability platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS networking and CI/CD tooling.
• Prior experience working in a regulated or FinTech environment.
