What you will do

• Process and facilitate purchasing transactions in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and conditions with OEM manufacturers and authorized distributors.
• Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, including backorders, backlog tracking, and ETA coordination.
• Resolve post-shipment discrepancies and negotiate return authorizations or credits with suppliers.
• Create and maintain product SKUs while determining optimal fulfillment methods like stocking or drop shipping.
• Collaborate with Finance to support revenue recognition and provide analytical reports for management.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Working knowledge of purchasing and supply chain management principles.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of government and educational contract requirements.
• Basic knowledge of international logistics and import/export feasibility.
