What you will do

• Procure goods and services cost-effectively and timely while maintaining lean inventory levels.
• Develop and strengthen supplier relationships through effective contract negotiation.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and develop annual plans for continuous improvement with suppliers.
• Manage planning data integrity within procurement software systems to support lean requirements.
• Mentor less experienced buyers to develop their skills and ensure performance expectations are met.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience collaborating with suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
• Ability to synthesize data into strategic insights and navigate business complexity.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Irvine, CA
