What you will do

• Define and own yield monitoring metrics and automated dashboards for real-time fab performance visibility.
• Lead root cause analysis of systematic and random yield detractors in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis to ensure process stability and reduce qubit performance variability.
• Establish Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines and maintain robust integration flows.
• Automate the design-to-wafer pipeline using Python to reduce manual handoff errors.
• Coordinate failure analysis investigations using electrical test data and advanced microscopy.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor or superconducting circuit nanofabrication or process integration.
• Proven expertise in yield engineering, SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis tools.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for tool development and workflow automation.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with experience in root cause analysis methodologies like 5 Whys, FMEA, or Ishikawa.
• Excellent communication skills for working in a cross-disciplinary environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the fabrication or characterization of superconducting circuits.
• Experience in cryogenic testing.
