Chief Security Officer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Buffalo, NY area, with onsite work at the corporate headquarters in East Aurora, NY. Travel of up to 25% is required.

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build and lead the Global Security Operations Center, including regional security leaders and external vendor partners.
• Oversee crisis management, incident response, resiliency planning, incident command structures, training, and documentation.
• Develop and implement global security procedures covering physical, executive, travel, personnel, and operational security.
• Use advanced analytics and threat intelligence to guide security strategy and resource allocation.
• Partner with Facilities and Real Estate on facility expansions, renovations, buildouts, and security requirements.
• Lead security assessments, site security standardization, investigations, and liaison activities with federal, state, and local law enforcement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, engineering, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• More than 15 years of progressively responsible security leadership experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with global regulatory frameworks and eligibility for high-level security clearance.
• PSP, CPP, or equivalent security credentials are highly desirable.
• Must live locally in the Buffalo, NY area and be able to work onsite at the East Aurora headquarters.
• Must be able to access U.S. export-controlled information.
