Information Systems Security Officer 3 w /Poly (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Columbia, Maryland; applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

Salary: USD $180,000–$192,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement information security strategies for a new contract and program.
• Maintain operational security, compliance, and protection of sensitive data.
• Coordinate and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices with stakeholders.
• Manage security for complex information systems and conduct daily security operations.
• Develop and update system security plans and cybersecurity documentation.
• Support senior ISSOs with information systems security policy implementation and enforcement.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Ten years of combined experience in IT, cybersecurity, or security authorization.
• Knowledge of security tools, hardware and software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques.
• Experience with commercial security products, security authorization, incident management, PKI, and authorization services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT Engineering, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• IAM Level I certification.
