What you will do

• Design, implement, and own critical infrastructure, including service architecture and reliability.
• Integrate compliance and banking services into the platform.
• Proactively identify and fix weaknesses in the codebase and infrastructure to improve system health.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ship features across multiple markets.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and code quality as the company scales.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals with knowledge of clean architecture, layered abstractions, and complexity tradeoffs.
• Proficiency in backend languages and frameworks relevant to scalable financial systems.
• Experience with databases, site reliability, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD.
• Ability to design robust financial systems with high security and compliance requirements.
• Must be based in Egypt.
