What you will do

• Own analytics for the Spot Pricing product, evaluating pricing performance and shipment win rates.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with Product Management to define, measure, and visualize product KPIs and OKRs.
• Perform 5–10 high-impact analyses monthly to validate hypotheses and measure feature impact.
• Design and support experimentation efforts, including A/B testing and MVP validation.
• Build and maintain dashboards and data pipelines using SQL and Python.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science).
• 3–5+ years of experience in Product, Pricing, or Marketplace Analytics.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for complex analysis and data validation.
• Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Sigma, or Mode.
• Experience with experimentation methodologies and hypothesis testing.
• Must be based in the San Diego/Encinitas and Los Angeles area.

Nice to have

• Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or statistical modeling.
• Exposure to machine learning concepts or predictive analytics.
• Experience with freight, logistics, transportation, or two-sided marketplaces.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.
