Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting Ops (Fintech): Managing end-to-end regulatory reporting cycles across multiple jurisdictions with an accent on data validation, reconciliations, regulatory submissions, and control frameworks. Focus on investigating data discrepancies, automating reporting workflows, supporting regulatory audits, and improving reporting quality through dashboards and monitoring.
Location: Kuala Lumpur; the role is based in Singapore or Malaysia.

What you will do
- Manage end-to-end regulatory reporting cycles for assigned jurisdictions, including data collection, validation, reconciliations, documentation, and submissions.
- Analyze reporting data, investigate exceptions and data-quality issues, identify root causes, and coordinate remediation.
- Improve reporting controls, monitoring, dashboards, data pipelines, and workflow automation.
- Support regulatory changes, audits, and reviews by assessing impacts and preparing documentation and evidence packs.
- Maintain regulatory reporting calendars and metrics to track timeliness, quality, and incident trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above and at least 2 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, risk, financial operations, financial reporting, compliance, or data and analytics.
- Strong analytical and data skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL or similar data-querying tools.
- Experience in payments, banking, or other regulated financial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, control mindset, deadline management, and ability to deliver accurate outputs under time pressure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across global and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English is required. Mandarin reading and writing skills are a plus.

- Experience with reporting systems, data pipelines, business intelligence, or visualization tools.
- Experience in payments, banking, or other regulated financial services.
