What you will do

• Commission and optimize AV systems in the field, ensuring audio, video, displays, and networking operate as designed.
• Collaborate with system programmers to ensure control system functionality and perform simple code and touch panel updates.
• Lead teams on large projects and provide remote assistance and mentorship to other field engineers.
• Diagnose known and discovered technical problems and formulate effective solutions.
• Maintain current knowledge of latest firmware updates and industry technology trends.

Requirements

• Must live within the New England territory.
• AVIXA CTS Certification is required.
• 5+ years of directly related experience as a Field Engineer.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems in audio, video, and network-based systems.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS-D or CTS-I certification.
• ISF Certification for displays.
• DSP certification from Biamp, QSC, or BSS.
• Level one programming/configuration certification from Crestron and/or Extron.
