Senior Associate, Fund Accountant

What you will do

• Process fund transactions in the accounting system and assess their impact on fund Net Asset Value.
• Prepare Net Asset Value packages and supporting schedules for senior review.
• Support audits and prepare or review financial statements.
• Meet client deliverables and queries in line with service-level agreements.
• Follow SOC1 operational controls and complete all relevant checklists.
• Ensure timely billing and collection of fees while suggesting process improvements.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in finance or accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in fund administration, investment management, or fund audit.
• Strong accuracy, efficiency, and client-service focus.
• Interest in or progress toward a professional accounting designation such as CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, or CFA is an asset but not required.
