What you will do
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements and disclosures under US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate end-to-end statutory audits, including planning, supporting schedules, auditor queries, and completion.
- Coordinate corporate income tax, withholding tax, stamp duty, and other local regulatory filings.
- Work with external auditors, tax agents, tax advisors, the Inland Revenue Board, and regulatory authorities.
- Support tax audits, regulatory inquiries, tax computations, amendments, and compliance issue resolution.
- Identify control gaps and business continuity risks while improving documentation and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance, or financial compliance.
- Working knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and stamp duty requirements.
- Experience working with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- CPA, ACCA, CA, MIA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- Big Four audit or tax experience and multinational-company experience are preferred.
