What you will do

• Review technical requirements of sales contracts and communicate scope to the engineering department.
• Monitor engineering progress to ensure technical requirements and schedules are met.
• Approve and release final design packages to logistics.
• Track procurement and manufacturing progress and perform final equipment inspections.
• Support customers through installation and commissioning phases.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design, project engineering, and start-up of similar equipment.
• Experience with coil processing and finishing line equipment in the steel and aluminum industries.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic systems, and mechanical design.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as Solid Edge and AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Approximately 25% domestic/international travel is required for startup and commissioning duties.

Nice to have

• EIT or PE certification.
