What you will do

• Administer large-scale Oracle 19c production databases and maintain enterprise environments.
• Manage Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and Multitenant (CDB/PDB) configurations.
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies using Data Guard and RMAN.
• Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and advanced SQL tuning techniques.
• Automate routine administration tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting tools.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving concurrency, networking, and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Extensive experience administering Oracle Database 19c in large enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise with Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Strong proficiency in RMAN backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Solid Linux administration skills with scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Must be willing to relocate to Springfield, Missouri within six months of conversion.
• Ability to participate in on-call production support.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate and enterprise database migration strategies.
• Knowledge of cloud-hosted Oracle environments (OCI, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control.
