What you will do

• Lead the exploitation of new product features to improve database availability and performance.
• Collaborate with customers to identify data needs, including access, protection, quality, and maintenance requirements.
• Recommend database design alternatives and lead the creation and maintenance of physical data models.
• Implement complex databases with a focus on tuning, data backup, recovery, and security processes.
• Establish and lead database administration best practices to achieve operational excellence.
• Participate in design reviews and manage the physical structure of the organizational data warehouse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Database Administration role.
• Expertise in Oracle Exadata Hardware (X11M/X9M), Oracle Relational Database 19, and Oracle Golden Gate Microservices.
• Experience with Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance 19x, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Linux 8x, Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c, and Oracle Key Vault 21x.
• Experience with DARE and DIME encryption, as well as Amazon Redshift setup and Cloudwatch.
