TL;DR
Commercial Counsel (Cybersecurity): Supporting a high volume of commercial transactions across Sales, Channel, and Customer Success teams with an accent on SaaS and technology contracting. Focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements to enable deal velocity and manage risk.
Location: Must be based in Amsterdam (Hybrid)
Salary: $113,400 - $140,000

What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-volume commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and order forms.
- Support Sales and Customer Success teams in closing deals efficiently while adhering to company risk guidelines.
- Partner with RevOps and Sales to resolve contract-related issues and maintain deal momentum.
- Develop and maintain standard templates, clause libraries, and negotiation guidelines to improve consistency.
- Collaborate with Security and Privacy teams to ensure contract terms align with business and product requirements.
Requirements
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial technology transactions, either in-house or at a law firm.
- English fluency is required for providing succinct and actionable advice.
- Proven experience within the SaaS industry.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority deals in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Must be based in Amsterdam to support a hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Fluency in German.
- Experience supporting channel, MSP/MSSP, or distributor models.
- Familiarity with GDPR and international cross-border data transfers.
- Prior experience working with a cybersecurity company.
- Comfort leveraging AI and legal tech tools for workflow optimization.
