What you will do

• Collaborate with product owners, UX specialists, and developers to transform research into actionable design solutions.
• Translate prototypes into responsive, accessible, and high-quality front-end implementations.
• Apply Human-Centered Design methodologies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Define and maintain UI/UX standards, coding practices, and design system guidelines.
• Evaluate interfaces for usability and compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards.
• Support Agile sprint cycles through rapid prototyping and iterative improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design development, specifically supporting enterprise or government applications.
• Strong experience applying Human-Centered Design methodologies and usability research practices.
• Proven knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery environments.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Storybook and front-end technologies including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal digital modernization programs or secure application design.
• Familiarity with UX analytics tools, AI-assisted UX solutions, or predictive usability models.
• Relevant certifications in usability, accessibility, or Agile methodologies.
