What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term creative vision and product portfolio direction for DWR Studio.
• Develop design briefs for furniture, lighting, accessories, and textiles, aligning them with brand and business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary industrial design team, fostering a culture of innovation and design excellence.
• Translate market intelligence and consumer insights into a differentiated product strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring design intent is maintained during engineering and manufacturing.
• Manage relationships with independent designers, studios, and global manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from an accredited university.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive industrial design experience, including at least five years leading teams.
• Proven track record of bringing premium furniture or consumer products to market.
• Deep expertise in furniture manufacturing, materials, construction techniques, and ergonomics.
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating world-class industrial design and creative leadership.
• Strong communication and executive-level influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Industrial Design or a related discipline.
• Experience with luxury furniture, interiors, or consumer lifestyle brands.
• Experience collaborating with internationally recognized designers or consultancies.
• Global manufacturing experience across North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Knowledge of circular design principles and sustainable materials.
