What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term creative vision for the DWR Studio original product portfolio.
• Create collection briefs and lead the conceptual development of furniture, lighting, accessories, and textile collections.
• Translate consumer insights, market intelligence, and cultural trends into product strategy, roadmaps, and portfolio priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary industrial design team while establishing design processes and review standards.
• Oversee products from concept through production, partnering with product development, engineering, sourcing, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Develop external relationships with designers, studios, manufacturers, and strategic partners, and represent the brand in the global design community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited university.
• At least 12 years of progressive industrial design experience, including a minimum of five years leading design teams.
• Successful experience designing and bringing premium furniture or consumer products to market.
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating industrial design, product thinking, and creative leadership.
• Deep knowledge of furniture manufacturing, materials, construction techniques, ergonomics, and product engineering.
• Strong ability to build and inspire high-performing creative teams, communicate effectively, and influence executives.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related discipline.
• Experience with premium or luxury furniture, interiors, or consumer lifestyle brands.
• Experience collaborating with internationally recognized designers or design consultancies.
• Global manufacturing experience across North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials, circular design, and responsible manufacturing.
