AWS Network Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement AWS network architectures including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, and multi-AZ deployments.
• Architect and manage routing using AWS Transit Gateway (TGW) for multi-account hub-and-spoke strategies.
• Build hybrid cloud connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Client VPN, and BGP routing integrations with on-premises environments.
• Develop enterprise DNS and traffic-routing strategies with Amazon Route 53 (routing policies, health checks, failover).
• Implement secure connectivity patterns using VPC Endpoints and AWS PrivateLink, and configure network security controls (Security Groups, Network ACLs, AWS Network Firewall, AWS WAF, AWS Shield).
• Automate networking deployments and operations using IaC (CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash), and troubleshoot routing/connectivity/DNS/latency issues.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud networking solutions in AWS.
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, CIDR, IPv4/IPv6, enterprise routing concepts, and BGP routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon VPC, AWS Transit Gateway, Route 53, VPC Endpoints, AWS PrivateLink, ALB, and NLB.
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking using AWS Direct Connect and VPN technologies.
• Experience implementing cloud network security controls and advanced network segmentation.
• Experience with IaC (CloudFormation) and scripting using Python and/or Bash; ability to troubleshoot complex networking and performance issues.
