Solution Architect (Institutional)

Location: Hybrid at a hirify.global office, with Boston, MA, United States listed for the role; office attendance is expected four days per week with one remote day.

Salary: USD 120,000–225,000 base salary per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the architecture of platforms supporting institutional client onboarding, servicing, reporting, and relationship analytics.
• Translate requirements from marketing, sales, relationship management, client servicing, and investment operations into scalable technology solutions.
• Align institutional client platforms with enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and long-term platform strategy.
• Define standards for integrations, data modeling, security, governance, data protection, and audit readiness.
• Partner with architects, engineers, delivery teams, data and analytics groups, and senior business stakeholders throughout implementation and platform operations.
• Mentor engineers and business analysts while supporting data strategy and architectural maturity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology roles, including substantial experience in institutional asset management or financial services.
• Lead-level individual contributor experience with ownership of architectural decisions and cross-functional technical direction.
• Strong background in client data management and enterprise integration patterns.
• Understanding of institutional client workflows, including onboarding, investment reporting, and relationship management.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and influence outcomes without formal authority.
• Experience in regulated environments, including data privacy, client confidentiality, and financial services compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting institutional client servicing, reporting, or distribution solutions within an asset management firm.
• Familiarity with data warehouses, reporting platforms, and middle- and back-office systems.
• Exposure to client data analytics, performance reporting, and regulatory reporting platforms.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams across regions and time zones.
• Technology certifications or experience with agentic development tools and emerging AI capabilities.
